Minimalism is the science of simplicity. As we find ourselves in the depths of consumerism, getting back to the basics seems to be more and more alluring. Minimalism is all about reducing the distractions in our lives so that more time and energy can be given to what truly gives us joy.

There is a minimalist movement going on where people are downsizing their homes, recycling and reusing, and giving up time on social media with the goal of reducing distractions and focusing on the things that are more valuable.
