GMOs, Herbicides, and Public Health

Get ready for a really big deal in the world of GMO’s and Public Health. The New England Journal of Medicine just published a piece recommending a halt in the deployment of a new form of herbicide comprising glyphosate plus 2,4-D (a component of the Agent Orange defoliant used in the Vietnam War) and to further assess the toxicology of pure glyphosate, which was identified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in 2015 as a “probable human carcinogen.”

You just can’t deny the sheer science behind the harm that round up ready crops and the non labeling of GMO foods will have on public health.  Click here to read the entire NEJM publication
